Well, that's me with blogging. I can trace the origins of my destiny to be a failure in blogging back to my angsty junior high days in which I tried to keep a journal. (<span id="fullpost">It was the hip thing to do after all - wax loquaciously (...or not so loquaciously) about the drama-filled days of junior high, pine for unrequited loves, and write horrible poetry you hoped to God your parents wouldn't find. <br /><br />I failed miserably then and clearly I've gotten no better in the many years that have passed. It doesn't mean I don't still wish I could be a good blogger though. I'd settle even for just regular updates, but alas, somewhere in the bustle of adjuncting, writing, knitting, cooking, cleaning and trying to devour everything from the latest mystery novel to the books on the theory of representation blogging simply doesn't make the cut. <br /><br />I will still continue to post humorous stories of our animals, knitting, sustainable living and gardening disasters (of which there are many), and of course, what we are eating as they come about. I might squeeze in something about the dissertation too.
